Well Paul Elliot could have called the company if he was 'so concerned' about the sale like some us did and find out as to why instead of coming out with 'assertions',oh well then that would be too easy.

Lisa, your concern stems from the fact that you have puts on Dell whereas many on the thread are long. Both sets of trades express the underlying feeling about Dell. Personally I believe this incident may have a beneficial effect on the stock. Dell was essentially in the 'quiet period' .... but PJ gave Dell the opportunity to say we'll meet the numbers (in the usual way (GG)), and as such let the shareholders be comfortable during the next few days.

Lets face it, given the above and being given a choice of being long or short, I'm quite happy on the longside, thankyou !!

Now, maybe there will be a brief market pullback, but given that the stock has churned so much these last few days without going anywhere, I don't think I am of a mind to sell-out and miss the earnings run-up that every other major tech stock seems to have had !!!.

Good luck all

Stephen
