now Speedy
you know that afterhours business is irrelevant...

you will be interested to know that there are some closet Dell people that read this thread that do look at the things that are out there that are negative..got a few private posts from people who are concerned about DELL...so there are more than a couple of us on this earth

btw, there are several more firms that will be allowing afterhours trading for the little guyz...just one more way for them to get screwed

and Jerry Miller..I am not interested in your private messages...so do not send them to me...and I have NO interest in being a part of any FAMILY of ANY stock thread....I don't get married to a position....well at least I try not to..

FredE, IBM has had a phenomenal run up prior to earnings ... and sold on the news .... a classic play. Mr Softee has been less than stellar since last week, and has gained on good earnings in afterhours . Both of these events were highly predictable.

As for future outlook ... gee whizz .... don't tell me they were making sure analysts didn't give them too hard a target to meet ... now why would they do that (GG). Frankly, I'm still stunned that MSFT essentially guided the analysts upwards .... must be a first !!!.

I think CSCO was a better play for your puts frankly - the networkers are showing more weakness. maybe you have both ??

Good luck all

Stephen
