It is the republicans that want to destroy my life not the Bible. They only use the Bible to justify their position. No, the Republican's think you can take care of your own life. It's the life that gets created within you when you become pregant that pro-life Republicans care about. The republicans want to deny me any possibility of abortion which is a requirement for a working woman (but not really for a stay at home mom, therefore why the hell should they care right?) Wrong, abortion is not a requirement for a working woman. If she doesn't want to keep her child, she can give it up for adoption to any one of thousands of eagerly waiting couples. Or is your attitude that "if I don't want it, then no one can have it, so I'm going to kill it." Your views on how terribly burdensome and inconvenient children are "to a working woman" when they can "destroy your life", is a very sad indictment of the values our society has. Throughout history it was a given that the VERY FIRST desire of mothers was to be with their children as much as possible. If you really feel that a child would be terribly burdensome and would "destroy your life", then please: Go get sterilized. Either that, or please give up any children you bear to loving adoptive parents, who will treasure each minute spent with them.
