"Would any of you consider it wise to to trade off some ETEC shares for twice the number of PLAB or MASK shares?"

I don't follow ETEC's competitors, and am mainly a TA-based investor. What I can say is the bounce-back off the $15 level has taken us into positive momentum territory for the first time since the big sell-down from 60 to 30. Ever since we first broke below 30, the momentum has oscillated between over-sold and neutral. We've now broken up above and out of that momentum trend. To me, that would forecast higher prices ahead, though the possibility of a short-term pull-back to neutral (a close of 25) is always there. Hard to tell -- all this could just be due to the severity of the sell-off which took us down to 15. We'd have to get up into the high-30's to make over-bought levels, which would be a natural selling point. This seems unlikely (just like 15 did). It's natural to look at 27-28 as a great exit level after having visited much lower prices, so all I can say is it depends on your reason, which, as I've said, I really can't say anything about. I'm still holding long. Good luck.
