I put in the 300A and haven't overclocked yet. Been configuring/loading stuff for several days. Still waiting on a Zip to arrive so I can move data over from the old machine too. The performance of the new machine is great. THanks mucho for the info. re: bus mastering. I checked Device Manager and under Hard Drive Controller it lists Intel 82371 AB/EB PCI Bus Master IDE Controller. I didn't see any place to check DMA harddrive, or anything else for that matter, or any mention of DMA harddrive. Maybe that's the DMA controller that's been installed already? Dave
