A rising tide floats all boats. Although MTSN was cheap (in other words I missed the low!) I don't know what has changed. So many hold losses with many of the small-caps that I wonder how sustainable this rally can be. Tax loss selling will probably exert negative pressure on MTSN and others. Going back to '96, THE one event that triggered a semi-eq. rally in Nov. was that AMAT came out with 'industry guidance'. After that, it was nowhere but up...until Asia. BTB also confirmed their 'rosier' outlook. If memory recalls, the current BTB to nowhere near the BTB's of the Summer of '96 BTB. I suspect that many are watching the 800 lb. gorilla before they commit their bananas. When does AMAT report? I am long MTSN and other semi-eq's and will buy more. While I missed this upward move, they may come back to test their lows. This group is a bonanza waiting to happen. Question is when. Just my 2 cents. Joe
