you refute fact your credibility on this thread continues to diminish. Dell will grow market share eventhough the overall market growth rate may diminish in '99. Kumar believes strongly that Dell will continue to outperform>>>>> 1. it is not inconsistent for an analyst to be concerned with a stock and not change his rating if you don't believe that, I am not going to try to convince you it happens all the time 2. analysts have hidden agendas ever heard of Pump'em and Dump'em ever heard of a guy by the name of Jeff Vinick ever heard of an analyst at merrill lynch with the first name Tom if you dont believe they have hidden agendas, I am not going to try to convince you 3 it wouldn't surprise me at all for Kumar to have made that comment to someone and it got out into the public and they are trying to CYA is that what happened??...I dont know..but it is plausible and until Kumar himself comes out and says he never made such a comment to ANYONE....then I dont rule it out (I wont rule it out even if he says that, quite frankly) and if you dont believe that, I am not going to try to convince you that press releases have agendas and dont always tell the whole story 4. it wouldn't surprise that it was a false rumor to move the stock and if you dont believe that can happen, I am not going to try to convince you it happens all the time 5. and it is NOT FACT that Dell will grow market share even though the overall market growth rate may diminish in '99 that is an ASSUMPTION or PREDICTION on your part....NOT FACT so your supposition that my credibility hinges on refuting FACTS like that is ludicrous furthermore, I don't believe you will see a post from me refuting that Dell will grow market share in 99.... show me that post... I believe you are just like Osci and pulling things out of the air....
