Dave, L M Ericsson has said they are not interested in cdmaOne and if their customers want it "we will deny them that request". So, no, QUALCOMM isn't licensing IS-95 to L M Ericsson. On whether QUALCOMM is willing to license cdma2000 to L M Ericsson - there is no need, because L M Ericsson says they don't need any QUALCOMM property for their vapour-wear system.

However it starts to seem the king isn't wearing any clothes. They strut around saying what a fine system their 3G-W-CDMA-VW-SETI system is, putting up trial sites around the world to be admired. From Korea, Japan, Europe, USA many gather to comment on the fine threads, exquisite detail and amazing chip rate. But one day, a little boy will point out that the king isn't wearing any clothes and there L M Ericsson will be, in their nakedness. Their cloak of glory is vapour-wear.

Meanwhile, Nokia is eating their lunch in GSM.
