To Valueman: My information (such as it is) is based on speculation on the AOL Loral thread. You are probably right that the insurance went through a Russian insurance agent - not necessarily a Russian "company per se" and there is agreement (for what little it is worth) that there was multiple handoff and coinsurance with a wide range of insurance companies based in several countries as is typical for a project of such massive size. Since the company has kept its shareholders in the dark on this - as is typical of Bernard L. Schwartz's style of operation - no one outside the company really knows. Maybe at some point G* management will clarify this, the planned launch schedule and a few other loose ends lying around. In the meantime we guess what has, is and will happen with G*. Miss Readware's help. (And the AOL board misses your insightful contributions BTW - but I am lucky - I learn from you here on SI) In any case, I for one knew that I was getting a one man band (Bernard L. Schwartz) when I bought into Loral and G* - not a "team" in the traditional corporate sense. I still expect outstanding performance from him and the multiple balls he has in the air. Just that once in a while a ball hits the ground. :-) Respect. Chaz
