JRSE - - Ali did not leave the program due to ineffectiveness , nor did he call it a sham. Ali left after 3 treatments beacause he felt he was being used by the media and that it was an invasion of his doctor - patient confidentiality . Why not mention all the athletes who have been treated successfully by the company - including Doug Toole (golf) , Don Carter (bowling) , Dave Davis (bowling) , Denny Schreiner (GolfChannel) , Chi Chi Rodriguez (golf) , Lee Elder (golf) , Donna Capone (golf). How could Ali call something a sham (which he didn't) that has the involvement of major universities ( Cornell , Oklahoma, Univ. of Texas, etc.) , Stennis Space Center, NASA engineers, Alphonso Serratto (former Medtronics executive for 17 years) , professional athletes, Richard Lilly (former analyst with Laidlaw and then Whale), etc, etc, etc. Besides the fact that the FDA has deemed the device safe and has allowed studies to begin; magnetic therapy is a billion dollar industry; and magnetic therapy is currently being used throughout countries like Europe , China , Greece, and the U.S. (Orthologic has FDA approval to use their magnetic product to treat non union bone fractures.) And I thought that ALI was only an expert in boxing.
