No Dave, absolutely not! You have been honest [as far as I can tell], ethical [if rude at times], not pretending to ability you don't have though like QUALCOMM, thinking your ability was more than it was - The Q indulged some wishful thinking for a year or two on when cdmaOne would be ready, [unlike those Charlatans L M Ericsson], and you seem not low or 'high life' as that implies a night clubbing fan, but certainly a serious and reputable person. So, don't think those comments apply to you. Sorry if somehow you got entangled in that. They are reserved for L M Ericsson and maybe Bill Frezza who if he was not being deceitful, was unbelievably naive. I did get impatient with your patent comments because I couldn't see where it was leading and I wondered why it had such an expectation that QUALCOMM patents would turn to mush, as though patents are NEVER defended, upheld and clean sweeps given to people who invent things. Now it seems that L M Ericsson is thinking a clean sweep is likely to be the outcome. I better read the thread, but if you haven't, how about explaining that. I'll tell you about Interdigital and their payment if you tell me why you are adopting the position you are and what your interest is. A self-sacrificing urge to educate the masses seemed a joke and not your real reason. Sorry about you mistaking the L M Ericsson comments as being directed at you. Of course, if you are or were an L M Ericsson employee who was conducting the L M Ericsson campaign of deceit, fraud, misrepresentation and confusion over the last 3 or 4 years, then yes, it does apply to you. But you haven't been around long enough - so I doubt it. Re Janet Reno - better that the anti-trust monopoly fantasy socialist Robin Hood laws be consigned to the bonfire. The bad monopoly is the one Janet Reno supports; state monopoly on power, which is unavoidable as far as I can tell. If you think QUALCOMM will become some cdma monopoly, invent something better, use something else or buy the stock. There is NO need for state destruction of value which they are attempting in a conspiracy against Microsoft. QUALCOMM will do the job of providing options for software and telecom links, beating two of the monopolies people worry about = the last mile and Windows. Mqurice
