I found that article/editorial/opinion interesting. I may not agree with their political platform as much as to show this is not a democracy of people its a gov't run by big business and what money can do and maybe if we look harder thats unfortunately clear. And we have let that happen with the majority of apathy in our country. We are driven by special interests, lobbyists, back room games, PACs, contributions not on quality of life or commonsense. I'm waiting for the budget bill to be put on the web.....No one read it and they had to vote for it. How did that happen and whats in it??? I emailed Linda Smith(R-WA) and Adam Smith(D-WA) and thanked them for voting NO. Not because it is bad - its because it was left to the last minute and rammed down... 4800 pages and 40lbs ...If any pork or last minute changes occurred it could not be debated.I reserve my comments til then to learn how much money went to large Defense contracts that have no military function or transportation projects that are pets for contributors and like C-Span said will take weeks to figure. Again like the Clinton fiasco - a very important issue thats trivialized this time with "perfectonist" remarks by another idiot- Newt Gringrich. If Clinton goes PLEASE take Newt also. Fair trade. I also value your opinion in fact all - it has merit in the perceptions of philosophical ideas. No two people see the same thing. Keep up the good work. eddyb
