Cable company stocks did real well earlier in the year, and the sector is still strongly recommended. QWST is something to look at.
I got cable internet with Time Warner a few months ago and it smokes--700KB/sec vs 30-40KB/sec with dialup.

Larry I got a cable hookup to net by Adelphia the sec it came out almost 2 years now. I invested in Adelphia --made enough to cover my 40 dollars a month fee till I die . All the net stocks will advance because of cable.

Yeah. Put the hell out of all publicly traded ISP. I am waiting for cable to become available in my area ( 1st part of next year) then
my local ISP can stick this in his ear (g)
