Slider, I'am in the camp with you and Ron that we are near the top of the current trading range and that today's rise is a selling opp. I've lightened up considerably. No one ever went broke taking profits. The crude price action is really strange and we once again get the weird divergence between the EIA and API storage figures with the EIA today much more bearish.

Lets also remember that the general market is looking toppy and if it rolls over, we roll over.

Slider: Let me repeat -- market reaction to news is critical. When the bad news is essentially ignored, this shows it has been discounted and the path of least resistance is UP. And when good news is ignored, the path of least resistance is DOWN.

The fact that industry leader SLB was able to shrug off a downgrade from DLJ yesterday tells me which way the wind is blowing.

>>>Clinton's potential full Impeachment still looms for me...<<<

The optimist that I am makes me consider the positive effect the termination of hearings w/o impeachment will have.

Also the bigger picture is what is happening at Camp David. Clinton will be unimpeachable if his administration pulls off a peace accord.
