Addi:

My previous comments notwithstanding, I'm no short term bull on XLNX. In fact my guess is that the stock will retest the low $30s before it breaks out to the upside. Comments here about no growth for 7 quarters are essentially correct, though I think long term bearishness is misplaced. Rapid cycle time is the differentiating characteristic of winning companies today, and PLDs are essential for getting the next hot product out the door on time. Turning the "hot knife" thru butter on its head for a minute, I think Wall Street is actually pleased that XLNX is able to maintain flat numbers in such a tough environment for tech, and is willing to be patient.

Addi, Reality? wishful thinking? Reality is, XlNX has had nothing to show for a PE of 30 or more for a year and a half.Hmmm maybe thats why the Bulls are disappearing from this thread.Wishful thinking ? XLNX bulls have being wishing for a year now,yet XLNX fundamentals keep deteriorating. BTW,once Mike Burke is negative on a company the way he is this one,the grave is already been dug, all you have to do is lower it in the ground.MB is not some yahoo analyst you see on CNBS Bubblevision or Joe Blow short thread. He his the real McCoy. Cheers MP
