here we go again...I think that rumor is circulated at least once a month

Imports of lower priced goods to the U.S. keeps domestic manufacturers on their toes... It forces them to be more efficient and competitive... The U.S. consumer benefits... Also, easing imports to the U.S. gives us more foreign policy leverage...
