Here is a suggestion from the Raging Bull thread: "Maybe if SI people don't want to post, they could have a rollcall, just so people know who is still around." How about a "head count"?????? HERE!!!!!........jim

Can i say it depends on what your definition of 'One million dollars worth of 'free' technology' really is ?? My company started looking into an entire new Backbone of LAN hardware, and the difference between the initial bid, and what we actually paid for it was some 80% less than the initial bid - and we did NOT cut anything out of the bid. The companies bidding were BAY, CISCO and CABLETRON. Oh, the initial bid and final price were all from the same company - one of them flat wouldn't 'deal', and the other 2 left were only about 10K apart.
