That's not exactly truthful. The only thing that is up is the short interest - it jumped to 89,000 shares last month. Earnings the last two years have not been that great - each year had a one-time gain that contributed a large percentage of earnings.

JMAR has got to deliver before anyone believes them. Also, "Market Guide" and similar writeups don't help. They say, "For the 6 months ended 6/30/98, sales fell 4% to $10.4M. Net income fell 18% to 317K. Revenues reflect a decline in sales of precision instrument products to the disk drive industry. Earnings also reflect lower gross margins due to competitive pricing pressures."
