Jay: OT On TV last week I was watching the Democrats taking bows for the Budget Agreement and spewing out some of the programs they want...it made me stop and think. They were talking about “adding more” after school programs to help keep kids out of trouble and give them direction…etc. The Democrats want Government to take over more and more of the parenting responsibilities, as their policies continue to deteriorate the family! Maybe Newt should have called his reference to the use of Orphanages as Government Subsidized Parental Relief 24 Hour Child Care Facilities. <g> Gee, it doesn't take a village, it takes a GOVERNMENT!…right Hillary? **OT*** IE- Electricity Blackout...come live with us here in Texas....the place we are building our perm residence, we have a cabin right now..we use a generator hooked straight to 500 gal fuel tank (although it is backup now)......of course when the fuel runs out............ We were the "place to be" several years ago when a major ice storm knocked out power for a week .. the less prepared neighbors were all moving to the city (hotels for the week)...the only problem is I was checking all their livestock daily for them..(barely was able to check my own.....) Of course the Y2K problem might not "Thaw out" as quick as a Texas ice storm...LOL Byram
