Hi Grayhairs, I share with you a response from Doug Robertson
President of Dalton.

I also quote from John Squarek President of First Star"With an area this large there is bound to be differences of opinion as to the size and location of the plays involved. It is important to note that the various different pay zones don't necessarily stack up one on top of the other, and that there may be more than one reefal development, even in the same horizon."

Hope you can attend the presentation on October 29th.

Sorry for the delay in responding as I was out of town recently.

As you are probably aware, First Star has acquired Apache's interest in the
Strachan play. This in my opinion is a good thing as Apache has taken the
slow approach. First Star is fundamentally in agreement with the other
parties about this play and things should proceed rapidly.

Tie-in will occur as soon as possible. As far as reserve estimates are
concerned, yes we have done internal evaluations, no I will not make them
public as I do not publish any reserves for Dalton's other producing
property. I do believe the market has heavily discounted Dalton, giving us
very little if any value for Strachan or for any upside of Strachan.

Sincerely,

Doug Robertson
President
