Few quick follow up thoughts to Clarence:

-I think the 512/128 cache issue is just about a wash unless you're using very cache intensive apps (unlikely.)

-I've been quite pleased with IW PS. Quiet, ATX 2.01 compliant. I also couldn't find enough info on this though.

-You could definately do worse than giving Humphrey at PCNut a call and talking over your options with him. He is a very nice guy, and won't hurry you. Also, he will dicker, especially if you have him assemble the whole thing. He might be able to come pretty close to the best piecemeal cost you could get. He also has lots of experience with these boards and CPUs. Especially if you're new at this, that experience is definately worth some premium. If you do call, you can tell him I told him to treat you right! (Big grin--doubt if he'd remember me though.)

I noticed that he has a today-only special that has the SL2W8 processor.
