OT - Parenting advice from Jim Cramer Hayride versus stock market? I was the only dad on that hayride with my daughter yesterday. Come on dads, sneak out and get on the hayride. We were joking in the office yesterday that I guess I am supposed to call my 4-year-old at 2:15 and say, "Look, I am really sorry. I know you were counting on me, But, you see, we have a bit of a island reversal developing, tech is coming in, and be darned if I am going to miss this Intel (INTC:Nasdaq) selloff." You could just see, 20 years from now, when she is 24, how understanding she would be about dad's priorities as she explained them to her therapist.
