Terry - I agree completely - just that I think the idea of abolishing all government is Wacko (do forgive the pun) - and quixotic - and that includes abolishing the Fed - even if they have acted in this malipulative way - did you read the current Sceptical Investor article? E

But with a lot of companies (Brokers, banks, OIl, High Tech, etc) laying off a few thousand here and there that are well paying jobs, even if interest rates are lowered. Who is left to buy any high priced goods to give a boost to the economy. Everyone will be buying KD. There are no new high paying jobs create to add on to the current buying to replace the lost buying power. It was reported on CNBC a while back that the wait for Mercedes Benz has went from several months to you can have it now. When the announcement of an interest rate change is made right before options are about to expire and other markets are closed (bond and gold markets) then manipulation and resulting ethical behavior becomes an issue.<<<
