I think JD mentioned it in one of his recent phone calls... basically they are being punished along with a number of the other mortgage resellers, and that they have decided to make some conservative estimates for future reserves to stave off any unexpected financial turbulence. In my opinion, unless they go bankrupt, a 12% return is fantastic for a company of NDE's quality...

Henry,
I believe nde is a spinoff of countrywide credit.(countrywide mortgage holdings) A long term JD recommendation. A recent Bloomberg article
dated 10/7 stated that some of the mortgage servicing could be in real financial trouble due to theshort term credit crunch

Av recent article dated Oct. 7 by bloomberg stated that mortgage service Cos. could face dire financial problems due to their inability to get funds because of the short term credit crunch.
