Steve, I never said you didn't do your home work. In fact, I remember complimenting you on your willingness to look at the Muslim resources to seek knowledge of Islam. I admit to being lax in my own studies. Have I consulted God? I consult God in my prayers on matters that are between my soul and God. As far as the text of the Bible, Quran, or other references to Gods Commandments; I have my intellect to verify whether or not there are contradictions in the text. I can combine that with my senses to make judgements on whether or not the claims made in the text have meaningful application in my life, and my preparation for God's judgement of my soul. I have my heart to confirm the truth of statements purported to be Gods word on righteous principles of living. I have all of Gods Creation to learn from and struggle with on a daily basis. It's enough for today. Tomorrow is another question? I am a truth seeker, and expect I always will be. Have Peace
