I'm sorry to hear that Peter, I wondered how that was going to work out when you noted you had had your call shares called away on Monday, since I knew Brown didn't have any shares to short. Too bad they didn't warn you so you could have anticipated and not have been caught in the rush.

This is also a lesson to those that short shares in the normal fashion. They can get called back and you simply have to buy back now at "market".

That was interesting; sorry if you had a loss.
Yhoo was surging at the same time, I was not able to watch the mkt until about 10 minutes ago, and my 200 shares of YHOO short were executed at $119 3/4.
