I am going to call them and ask about the home page...to me its BOOORRRINGGG!!! I hope it changes. Its basically just text, needs some album covers or pictures to warm it up and make it look interesting to get into. I also hope ( and will ask ) that they jazz up their reviews with more and better display of them, along with guides on what to buy or what would also be good to go along with ones CD pick...also CD ratings charts...and record and concert news...all this should be included and attractively displayed!!!
(I know we are in the card business, but the pricing and the CD sight are what attracts and makes one stick around long enuf to maybe put more in the shopping cart.) Get some creative web site graphic artists to work on it!
Maybe make the home page look like a big, glittery juke box with album pictures on and around it or something!!!
JAZZ THE SIGHT, GIVE IT GLITZ, LAS VEGAS STYLE!!!! SELL IT!!!!

Sam,

It is my understanding that most, if not all, of the changes and testing are now being done "offline" (ie: on another URL not yet available to us) and we may (will, IMO) be very pleasantly surprised when suddenly the "final" (is there really any such thing?) site appears. When I spoke with James today I discussed adding more "glitz" and "pizzaz", getting the SoundX applet up and running (that's the sounds-like part), the classical music, etc., etc. and getting the outside vendors such as EIS (who send out the e-mail confirmations and transfer the orders from the site) moving to complete their end. Apparently it's all tied together and, fortunately, all coming together. They are well aware of the Christmas season and that the big shopping season starts Thanksgiving weekend.

I do, however, strongly suggest that shareholders call TSIG and leave a message for James Guild as well as the TSIG webmaster regarding these changes and the importance of completing the site ASAP. Unfortunately, I don't think many shareholders will take the few minutes to pick-up the phone and express their suggestions. Yelling and screaming won't help, but well-intended criticism and suggestions presented in a polite fashion are generally always well accepted. We all, shareholders and management, want this Company to be a success.

Best always,

Marty
