The conference call was upbeat with several 'congrats' from analysts asking questions. So discounting a moment all the positives (there were many), I see two possible negatives:

FIRST: If I heard correctly, some caution about what the year-over-year comparables might look like, citing 'a revenue bubble' last 4th qtr as customers acted once the financials were cleared up. He did say they expected to benefit from the usual good fourth qtr, just that the comparables might not be as positive as this qtr.

SECOND: That 'many customers have told me' (BF) that they are putting in an applications freeze in the 2nd half of the year next yr due to Y2K. While he speculated that this might hurt apps vendors most directly, it was unclear how it might affect IFMX. I guess this is a risk factor for the coming year that may get more discussion once Jan comes around, although one might think that this time year they'd be projecting a big revenue bubble in early fiscal 2000.
