BD's sampling will be totally objective according to recognized standards.

Having Guido anywhere around would be seen to bias the data.

When they checked Bre-X they didn't use any samples that Bre-X had taken and they didn't ask DeGuzman for comments during testing.

Guido only spent ten days in the field to come up with such extraordinary numbers as reported in early '97, so BD shouldn't have to spend too much time sampling to know that there is indeed a MAJOR MAJOR resource in this valley.

Since BD employees are only human I would think that the word would already be leaking and that's probably apparent in the upward price gaps we're already seeing.

Hi C. .What are the chances BD is working with Guido on the verification? Would Guido be there to answer questions on his report or is the work by BD COMPLETELY independent?

BD as an "independant" would talk to Guido, would collect all of his data, examine the placement of all the sample holes. Determine whether the "technique" employed followed IMS. Whether the geographical "continuity assumptions" were correct. Whether the "uniqueness" of the property precludes drilling! Then collect back-up samples and have them assayed, and finally make a determination.
