Check out the transports today...

quote.yahoo.com

The industrials will fall to catch up with the transports on the downside. The transports have dropped about 5+% from yesterdays highs. That corresponds to about a 450 pt drop in the DOW if the transports would remain flat to slightly down while the DOW caught up.
I think this last top was essentially a double top paired with the mid -september recovery. We are also at double top for the DOW. The NASDAQ has a little ways to go.

Hitech,

I do watch the McOsc, but do not rely on it for actualy signals. In my system I use it to confirm environment.

But I agree that it is very high and should at least signal close to a top.

McClellan reading actually droppred slightedly today to 234. Could signal the beginnign of a short term down trend.
