Mad2, sorry to dissolve your guess work on the 7.5mm investment. It will be for another plate line. Probably right next to the existing P-2000 vacuum line already in use. Of course the 2.5mm new building (ahead of schedule for the entire 3 phase project) will leave plenty of space for the near term.

Yes these expansions take time and money. Am I happy that PRST is
investing in the infrastructure to be the dominate digital plate
manufacturer in the world, yes. Would I like it to be a faster time
frame, yes.

Drupa 2000 will have as many as 10 DI presses. All running PRST
technology and burning PRST digital thermal plates. When will these
new partners be announced? Who are these new partners? How many
Scitex machines will be sold by then and burning the larger footprint
of PearlDry plates. How many more of the new QM-DI+ machines
will be sold by then.

The shorts and bashers can have all the fun they like. What I have
seen, first hand, at the Hudson facility is very impressive. What this
little company has done to the age old printing industry is nothing
short of amazing. When the 100mm sales barrier is broken then I
would expect another quantum leap in PRST story.

The stability in the price seems to indicate that there are others who
believe that the wait will be worth the final returns.

Good luck to each and all.
SG
