I'm still holding big. I'll be in for awhile so I'm going to have to curtail my time spent on this thread. I couldn't help myself before earning's but now I'm going to take some time for me and play.

Anyone use Mark Jurik's tools? JMA which is the Jurik version of adaptive moving average. Vel which is his no lag velocity indicator and another in the package was CFB composite fractal something.

I prefer price bars over indicators, but these are some of the best so I had to try them. Have had them a week and haven't loaded them or read the docs. I'm not all that interested, but wanted to give them a try. If anybody uses them speak up and I'll load mine and take a look at what they do.

There are other ideas that are really hot on my mind that I must try first. One is a measurement of velocity directly from price bars and another is acceleration and again directly from price bars. And another which determines direction. I believe that should do it. Direction, velocity and acceleration.

That's were I'll be if you need me. Analysis is going to be limited until I get this system coded and can offer some valid comments.

Don't forget that CADE's net margins are actually shrinking. I think this is the primary reason the market has not valued CADE as a high growth stock. I would not expect CADE to move higher long term if the margins keep getting clipped.
