The "package" consisted of a small box with a black satin exterior... quite old looking in fact. It had brass trim and little brass hinges. It seemed like it might be some type of antique cigarette case. Gingerly, he pried the box open with one of his chewed-off thumbnails. As the little box opened, the room about him began to spin and the air filled with fog. A chiming as of tiny brass bells filled his ears and moments later, he fell to the floor gasping in terror as an eerie voice cried out, "Tiny Tim-bits... on this night, you will be visited by three spirits... the ghost of carrels past, the ghost of carrels present, and the ghost of carrels future. Prepare yourself for your first visitation Tim-bits!!" With a clap of thunder, the fog disappeared and Tiny Tim found himself crawling about on the carpeted floor scrounging blindly for his glasses which had flown from his head during his fall....
