Info about the HP 366 K6-2

Got this from www.3dnow.net

"Here is some anonymous news about HPs 366MHz K6-2 system:

I have some info on the new Pavilion you may find intresting. It WILL clock at
366mhz, but the chip will be a 380mhz part. The chipset will be an SiS 5598
and the bus speed wil be 66mhz. Yes, 66. AMD says 95x4=380 but the
machine will say 66x4.5=366...

There are a number of reasons why the machine will carry a 66mhz bus (as all
K6-2 pc's by HP do, NONE of HP's Pavilions run at 66mhz bus and use the
same motherboard, one incapable of much over that speed). Don't expect HP
to use a 100mhz bus any time soon.

This motherboard also uses an SiS video chipset that uses the main system
memory as video memory, meaning that up to 4 meg of RAM will not be
recognized by windows as the video is using it.

Well, please keep in mind that this news does not come from any company press
release or official statement. The above statements simply come from word of mouth.
Whether they are true or not, we will see."
