Then what is the power dissipation of a K6 - 300 PLUS an additional 512 KByte of SRAM running at, say, 300 MHz ? Re: "Do you know if the SRAM is wire bonded to the PII or surface mounted on a baby cartridge to the PII?" The packaged SRAM L2 cache on the Mobile Pentium II are surface mounted to a substrate - the same as the Pentium II package. Paul
