Josef,

I also went to Excite and got banner ads for PINC using:

"BUG"
"KIT"
"BUG KIT"
"Y2K"
"Millennium Bug Kit"

Same for Netscape. I ran my tests over about a 10 minute span, continuously hitting the SEARCH button. True, I also got ads for NetGrocer, Prodigy Internet, Direct TV, etc over time. But, this proves the banners exist. PINC delivered once again.

My gut feel is that PINC may not be saying what they are spending, or making, but if you look, they seem to be placing a lot of ground work in for advertising and PR.

If you are such a Y2K expert, would you agree that

a) a fraction of a very small percentage of comsumers have even seriuosly considered fixing their machines, not to mention the very few who have, and

b) given that there are 100s of millions of dollars, yen, and mark that must be spent to fix the problem, if PINC grabs only 5% of the market, things will go well for us shareholders?

The key is to offer a working product, at an affordable price, that can be understood and uploaded by simpletons. The winners are going to have the backing and marketing exposure. Will PINC do it? I am betting on it. But others will too, that's free market economy.
