that's how this whole discussion started: going under the bid with ISLD crosses the market, and on most systems, it is not allowed (immediate delete). My guess is that if you actually do this in practice, then you probably trade through Datek?

My mistake. If you SNET offered above the bid you would be in terrible shape in a fast moving market.

I meant to say that a 34 1/16 SNET broadcast would solve the problem.

In a market where the bottom drops out of the stock that you are long, don't be afraid to give up an eighth or more to ensure an exit...

...any experienced trader can tell you that trying to get out at the market when looking into the abyss can be a gut-wrenching and annoying process.
