Can anyone tell me why technical analysis has any validity? How is it different than observing that the market goes up every time the NFC wins the Super Bowl? The only thing i can see, is that if enough people use the same TA, it becomes a self-fulfilling predictor because of selling/buying pressure caused by those who subscribe to TA? Actually i have some TA of my own. Every time (four out of four) my portfolio, which is mostly Sun, reaches it's high, the market tanks. Well we're here for the fifth time, and i'm still not clever enough to sell. Steve
