Where is the evidence of this Jihad? I haven't seen it. As a matter of fact I am conservative, Christian, (although I would not consider myself devout in any sense) and I have several friends who are gay, my friendship with them dating from my rebellious college years. Now as Ms. Charen's column makes crystal clear, Christians, that is to say true believers of Christian precepts, do not preach hate or violence against anyone, including gays. The crime against Matthew Shepard is truly heinous. If in fact his murder was solely related to his sexual orientation that is a tragedy. IMO it would be no less a tragedy if it happened because he was a Jew, black or even white. Clinton's lies which have resulted in his total lack of moral or other authority to continue to lead this country are another story entirely. The tragedy in that scenario is the gyration Clinton supporters must go through to justify such a reprehensible politician being allowed to continue to occupy the highest office in the land. JLA
