I am somewhat disappointed with my IOM purchase. The volume is declining once again to pathetic levels. And the bounce is stalled. What we need here is some more ultra-hype from the press room at Iomega. We need more rehashed Vapor! news (stuff that is 6 months old will do, like the recent "news" that a flash reader for Vapor! would be available). We need more announcements that OEM's are signing up for Zip (never mind that Zip is being sold at a loss), and we need an announcement about a low-cost Jaz (you know- one that will cannibalize sales of higher-margin regular Jaz drives and discs). Comdex will be here before we know it, and my money gets impatient sitting in a loser like this for too long. So come on, Iomega. We need the stock to get to $5 or $5 1/2 so I can dump it. Then I can short it again to take advantage of the inevitable price collapse after Comdex. Let's have some of what you're famous for-- empty promises, vapor product announcments, and ultra-hype.
