yeah I know I know its sleazy going for 1/8s but it takes alot of the stress away. ASide from the last few days, it has been a nightmare wether your trading or positioning. One day id make a killing, and the next it would all be given back in 5 minutes. Im waiting for a small pullback now so by doing the 1/8ths game it usually means only 5 minutes of stress! Anyhow- buying 2-3thousand shares of a liquid stock like DELL could give you an easy 2-3hundred in five minutes and DELL is very easy to play for 1/4 and 1/2s. In percentage terms it would seem too risky, but if you cut the loss just as quick the odds are in your favor I think.

Sleazy yes, but I noticed over these last few months alot of folks who I followed on s/i are no longer here which means they either got rich or lost a fortune... Other than these last few trading days, the rules seem to have changed quite a bit on wallstreet and if all the 1/8ths and 1/4s add up to a few hundred bucks at the end of the day ill take it!

AMFM is a personal favorite of mine only because I know quite a bit about who follows it. Big money. This is one of those issues where you just watch it all day, and when it drops it can do 2-3 points in 5 minutes and thats when I jump in with both feet. This is a great stock to position in and just sit it out. I was lucky enough to get in at 20 15/16 2 weeks back and this made up for the small 1/8 and quarter sleze trades in one shot!
