Novell's centre for networking CHENNAI: Novell Inc has set up Novell Institute for Networking Technology (NINT) near Pune in Maharashtra. A memorandum of understanding between the State Government and the Onward Novell (India) Ltd., was signed in Mumbai. Onward Novell, a 50:50 joint venture formed by Novell Inc of the U.S. and Onward Technology Group (India), will run this institute and provide advanced education to IT professionals in networking. Novell has invested Rs. 60 crores in India towards setting up the new company and the research and development centre at Bangalore. It will invest an additional Rs. 40 crores in India by the year 2000 in education and training and building network infrastructure.
