I would consider ISP association a very reputable, and that is where they sent me. I have to give little e some credit. The other day at work, someone asked me about an investment, and I said to them, "what are you asking me for, heck I own stock in a company that is trying to do business with a phone company that doesn't have a phone number." I am not quite sure how he put it, but I thought is was a classic line. I do have a thought or model I can share and maybe some aspect is relevant. I have seen legal entities created for specific purposes, generally when confidentiality is a concern. Here is a stupid example to convey my thought. Say there are 3 entities, A, B, and C and to each you cannot pay more than $50 dollars, the maximum you can spend is $150, and you don't have to pay anything to any one of them. You want to spend the $150, but you want B, and C to get more than $50. You are independent of all 3, but they all know the rules. Under this arrangement, B and C may talk to A and say play with us or you run the risk of getting nothing. A has to make a decision, and I've seen this played out, where A, B, and C will all agree to become a legal entity for the purpose of being able to receive the payment I wish to make to them. I will call this D. Now I can make a $150 payment to D, and how that entity disperses the funds is decided not by me but by the terms of the agreement to which A,B,and C signed. The $50 dollars in my example could represent anything. One is costs, say you can't pay an entity more than it's cost, and the costs of A,B, and C is 150 dollars. I haven't violated the rule, because from a legal standpoint, D is the entity and its cost are $150. I wouldn't expect D to consist of very much as there would be no need for it to. Like I said, this is just my thought and whether or not it has in any way any practical application to the "missing phone company" I don't know, but a premium does appear to be placed on confidentiality in this sector in my opinion.
