O.T. - Cassandra - I just learned the exact origin (and meaning) of "Cassandra." (Because today's morning guest on CNBC is from a firm called something like Cassandra Asset Management).

Cassandra was a prophetess in ancient Troy who had the ability to foretell the future correctly, but who was never believed. Among other things, she warned of the city of Troy's defeat.

People (now) commonly misuse the term Cassandra to mean (simply) someone predicting bad things.
