>He didn't say, "If you don't own Pokphand, I think this would be a good time to buy it." He didn't say, "Whether or not you already own it, I would buy shares in Pokphand" What he said was, "If you own Pokphand, then my advice is to buy more!" It means exactly what it says- not what you want it to mean.

What I took that to mean was if you have decided to invest in Pokphand, don't worry, this is temporary. Buy more on this dip. If you have not invested in Pokphand (for whatever reason, including your own DD), nothing has changed that will persuade you to change your mind.

Since I began reading IW, I have understood JD's advice to create your own portfolio from his selection of stocks. Like you, I have selected some losers. But *I* selected them.

To all
When I investigated JD's IW in hulberts Guide published in 1993, JD
JD was only one of seven advisors that beat the comparison of the S&P 500 or Wilshire index on a risk adjused basis. I bought CCR on the basis of the thorough analysis analysis of the stock provided me as a new subscriber.I agree with Daniel that JD strengths are financial
stocks. This stock went from 13 to 52.
This lead me to have a certain trust in his stock picks,as I'm sure others on this thread have had . The hotlines have dissapointed in the last couple of years . I was foolish enough to buy CPPKY at 9 1/2 because JD said on his hotline somebody over there must know something. while I may be guilty of not doing due diligence, what kind of advice is this? I also am disspointed with his recommendation of CD at 22
I am not convinced that we are getting due dilligence from JD. He has repeatedly asked us to grab a falling knife with CD. It seems to me a investigative call with Henry Silverman, whom JD says he knows
would have provided some reasons not to jump on this stock as JD recommended.
I do not understand why JD seems to fall in love with his picks
that are losers. It is a disservice to his subscribers to keep recommending that they lose 30% or more on his losers.SELL!
so they can move on to a better investment.
Good Luck to all
