I've heard too many promises too frequently to believe anything. Take streamer: now its here, how its gone. Yes, it was beta - so you can't *really* get steamed (streamed?) about it - and if they took the streamer servers and added them into the order processing net then you got to admire that decision. If I was primarily an options trader (I'm not) I wouldn't consider a switch to datek until 6 months after they support options. You can't buy and sell hope and they don't take hope at the grocery store either.

P.S. What I focused on in the article is the growth plans. Given the thread tone of the past week, I am concerned about capacity management. Haven traded DELL a few times, I understand certain order volume levels cause Datek problems. But they are still head & shoulders better than Schwab and at 1/3 the price.

P.P.S. (edit) I've heard good things about Brown & Co. options & equity trading. SI has a reasonably active thread on the subject. Cheers.
