PMS, << Simply put, I think it takes only a GENERAL knowledge of the technical issues to invest profitably in this area. Something about missing forests by looking at trees to closely. One quickly realizes that efforts at becoming "market wise" are better rewarded than becoming "technology knowledgeable", and requires less effort too. >>

Smart comment. Some people seem to think that an investor must know the minute details of a company or technology before investing. If that were the case, opportunities would be severely limited. It certainly helps if one can read and understand the financial statements of a company. The ability of a company to build up trust with investors by achieving their stated goals can not be overlooked. However, past performance is never a guarantee for future performance. Due diligence must always be applied.
