Thanks for the kind words....but, I propose an obvious challenge to all those that don't firmly believe Dell is the next Dell.... Read every post and link from this thread from the inception.... (sure we're talking about a great deal of time....but, if time is money....then it will be well worth the pay per hour.. :o)....) Segment or highlight the quotes of Michael Dell...... I am positive any fool will find his visions and predictions are so precise and in line with what eventually happens it is no coincidence...IMO his smile alone (gotta use a VCR tooo!!) are as close to "inside information" as imaginable ....Don't take my word for it....But quite frankly.... the posts and knowledge of this thread has done nothing but tell us of what Dell is going to do or is about to do..and, I might add....accomplished this quite well while upholding a high standard of integrity... .When Michael talks of who has been hired or what is eventually going to occur he is talking of the future...yet, his definition of "future" is in my opinion is vastly unique..I believe this can be seen when he talks to groups of people...he has earned this reputation for his visionary goals and ideals...many more are discovering that he has been accurate and those that doubted his predictions have not benefited as some of us who trusted his words...Also,.....his visions are ultra conservative...perhaps this is why I love to tease about Dell "deceiving me" :o)....I'm not a complicated guy but, I happen to fortunate to have recognized his truthfulness and honesty quite a long time ago...well, these personal visions and information information was absorbed (to a degree.. :o)..) and off we went to Austin..... Northern invasion to Austin this summer: METRIC FACILITY.... .I turned around at the Metric facility and there you were..Steve.....your eyes were no different than the others....amazed at the reality of how everything we had imagined..... was in plain words.....a dream come true...efficiency to the "T".... THE BRIEFING.... Robert Williams .....this guy did a job so well and so thorough... two of our group fought for the phone to BUY MORE DELL prior to going to lunch....he toooo had this grin on his face that had me smiling with joy inside...things I had envisioned were being told to me verbally and precisely as imagined....what a total experience it was... THE DEVELOPMENTS...you know...the stuff the "kid in me" loves...dirt, bulldozers, roads, foundations, steel supports..concrete slabs..massive parking lots.....etc.... The private tour Steve, Frank and myself got that extra day there...well, Steve and I shot eight rolls between us....I have written a number of times about the pure astonishment we had upon seeing the construction in Round Rock....it was overwhelmingly obvious that Dell was positioning itself for inevitable growth with a magnitude they have never... PLANNING on a scale that would make me begin to use that word "drool"....What else were we suppose to think when that road led us to an airport with this enormous building scheduled to produce nothing but servers??...hell, we'd just been in the Metric facility and this was far larger than that...36 bays on each side....36!!!!!!!!! If anyone thinks Michael's house is toooo big for his family....think again....this facility for just servers....whooooah....connect the scene two days prior when we saw the efficiency at Metric....put that same BTO case scenario in this building....you come to two possible case scenarios: 1. Dell has built a facility to house airplanes or 2. Michael's visions are once again an indication of where this company is headed....if Michael had anything to do with what size building would be needed for his vision....how could anyone bet against Dell?
