To Tero: Thanks. I just did as you recommended and the clear picture does jump out at your. Sugarcoating is evident. Glad I own the Q and Nokia - not Ericsson. BTW do you have any views re the raging controversy over the Ericsson claims of 3 new (sic.) blocking patents on IS-95 which are so called "submarine" patents which are about to be issued based on claims filed (but not public) in the US patent office circa 1988? This discussion is on the Q thread. Also BTW miss your input there. Best regards. Chaz PS Would you be willing to post the link where to find hidden Ericy 3rd quarter data on Q thread please. (I don't seem to be able to do it) :-)

That was quite a bitchy little message, Tero. Very funny. So now that LU has failed to impress the Street, the burden falls to NOK.A. Save my portfolio tomorrow, please!

"Ericsson is doing a mistake by trying to dupe people by referring to nine month results, quarterly results are quarterly results, not nine month results."

Crooks dupe and paste smileys. Honest people who are great at what they do, don't feel the need to hide when things go wrong. They drag the problem into the daylight so it can be better focussed on and fixed.

When people dupe, they primarily dupe themselves. They are fooling themselves on how the world works. Sure, they get a short term advantage and might even get clean away with the dupe at times. But they themselves aren't duped. The dupe becomes part of them. They are then unable to face reality.

And so on. Cosmic justice? Karma? Un-Gung Ho? Clear-headedness? Sin? Stupidity? Breaching natural laws? There are many words to describe it and we are all subject to it to a greater or lesser extent. ERICY seems to have it in spades.

I had a boss once who couldn't tell the truth. He really felt uncomfortable if he wasn't spinning some angle, manipulating some fact, twisting somebody's mind. He never got to be a very big boss and was eventually ditched in early retirement. Yet he was quite a personable person and not unintelligent.

ERICY is like that but without the redeeming features, though they seem to have some egregious animal cunning.

I wonder if, like Pinnochio, Nokia will be lead by Ericy to playland where boys have fun, smoke, don't work etc, grow tails and ears and turn into donkeys. Together they can poke fun at the boring, studious QUALCOMM people, working away to produce technological wonder and steal their bicycles. Is Nokia's 3G-W-CDMA-VW-SETI trial system built yet?

Or will Nokia take the higher road? They have hesitated at times, but so far seem fine.
