I have a Native Charity Casino 5 minutes from me....They have all the table games except craps (banned in Canada period), with $25.00 table limits...They don't have, but the word is they will shortly have slot machines....

Rama Casino approx 45 minutes from me in Orillia Ontario is a full-blown gambling complex (will eventually be a destination resort), huge table limits, over 1500 slots...it is 100% Native owned. I think they are trying to emulate Foxwoods on a smaller scale...They have big name entertainment...Tony Bennet, Vince Gill etc.etc.etc.

There is also a Native Charity Casino similar to the one near me, located in Thunder Bay...so...

Yes Cheeky...there are Native Casinos in Canada

I wasn"t really referring to Canadian Indian bands in particular as I understood that was all American Indian bands that was mentioned on
the web page We were looking at: Re: John Lawrence. Perhaps John could clarify this.
Come to think of it, when I was at the Calgary Stampede this summer, I
won a denim shirt from a booth in the round-up centre that was promoting Indian Casino"s.. The crest on the shirt says :
"Painted Hand Casino." If memory serves me right, "and it doesn"t always," There was native people manning & womaning, or should I say
"Personing" the booth from a band in Saskatchewan..
